I was reading over at Twitter and Roger Ebert posted a link to this YouTube video. It's a rendition of Leonard Cohen's classic "Hallelujah" (one of my favorite songs) as performed by Michael Worth, a man who lost his daughter, Amelia, to Leukemia. The video is a touching tribute and made me even more thankful that I haven't lost one of my beautiful children to illness. I can't even begin to imagine the heartbreak and horror that must consume a parent who has experienced the death of one of their children. This video is like a mini-documentary of what the depth of that emotion must be. Take a close look into Worth's eyes at the end of the video -- they tell the whole story.
My heart goes out to his family.
