Tonight, I will be at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills for the PaleyFest 2010 LOST panel hosted by the Paley Center. Featured panelists will be Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse, Eddy Kitsis, Adam Horowitz, Liz Sarnoff, and surprise cast members.
This is my first LOST event outside of watching the show from the comfort of my living room. Does this officially make me an obsessed fan? Am I now a "Lostie?"
My buddy Jason and I will be headed out there tonight for -- we hope -- some really super cool tidbits on what the remainder of season six holds in store for us. My son was going to go, but due to an unforseen drop in his English grade (F? Really? And I'm an English teacher for Chrissakes!), not to mention an attempt to manipulate my ex-wife and I (which I remarked was very Benjamin Linus of him), he is going to sit this one out. I'm sad, because I know it meant a lot to him -- how many 12-year olds can say they've been to a discussion panel for the greatest TV show in the history of mankind? Yet, being a person of strong character is more important. Right?
So, I'll be out there in my WWJLD T-shirt, enjoying what looks to be a great experience. I'll keep updating Twitter throughout the evening. And I'll write up a full post tomorrow.
