Here is the second trailer for season 3 of HBO's True Blood, and it's looking HOT!
For those of you not in the know about True Blood, it tells the story of Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic waitress in the bayou town of Bon Temps who gets caught up in the supernatural world of vampires. In this set-up, vampires are allowed to walk freely among the living because of a synthetic blood beverage called Tru Blood. Sookie falls in love with Bill, a local vampire because she isn't able to read his thoughts, unlike everyone else she comes across. Season two ended with Bill proposing marriage right before getting kidnapped by an unknown character. Great cliffhanger.
The show is based on the Southern Vampire Mysteries/Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris. Season three is to be loosely based on the third novel of the series, called Club Dead. I won't spoil anything, but so far, Club Dead is my favorite novel in the series, so hopefully season three will keep up with the quality of the first two and then take it up a notch.
Season three airs on Sunday, June 13th at 10 pm on HBO.
